After having had an unfortunate experience with the quasi sine wave inverter equipped with this RV (we burnt out our crt Sony TV while using that poor inverter) we up to date our electrical system with a pure sine wave inverter and the surge protect indicated right here. After replacing the CRT TV's with HDTV's with all those strong state components, we wished to protect the TVs and microwave oven with the surge defend.

Good factor we did. On one go back and forth to a state park in within the mountains of Virginia, we plugged into the equipped shore power, and the surge guard would no longer move the electric energy available on the park. The surge shield analyzes the ability, and after 2 minutes 16 2nds of study will ship the power on to your RV's circuits. Even if it does pass that threshold, it could stop the waft of current if a spike must happen.
Reviews for TRC 34560 Surge Guard 50-Amp Hardwire (Automotive) Their is not any strategy to decide if the product works as stated except their is a confirmed surge of voltage either instantly or indirectly from a nearby lightning strike, or another adnormality that will produce a voltage spike. I have no cause to doubt the specs. as indicated. It is lightweight and easy to install. The simplest grievance I would make is for the necessity to have higher screw gaps for the cable wires...not all of the wire strands want to go into the small screw hole terminals.
